Marilyn Ann Huffman Killett, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Virginia Lee Penney Huffman and Melvin Luther "Red" Huffman.

Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband of over 62 years, Larry Thelbert Killett; her daughter, Lee Ann Killett Rayner, and son-in-law, Mark Rayner; her son, Ethan Killett; and her brother, Jerry Lee Huffman.

Marilyn lived a life rooted in love, creativity, and service. She devoted herself to her family and found purpose in helping children who often slipped through the cracks, working for many years as a dedicated special education paraprofessional. She had a sharp eye for art and design and was an enthusiastic collector and trader of antiques. Her wicked sense of humor was unforgettable--a spark that lit up every conversation.

Above all, Marilyn loved deeply. Her family and close friends were the center of her world, and their lives are forever enriched by her warmth, wit, and unwavering care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Greystone Country Club in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m., with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her memory to the charity of your choice.
