James Alexander Schaffhauser

James Alexander Schaffhauser, age 78, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born May 23, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Herbert A. Schaffhauser and Elizabeth "Betty" Cushman Schaffhauser.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Boyce Schaffhauser; two sons, Chris Schaffhauser (Lori) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Tom Schaffhauser of Horn Lake, Mississippi; daughter, Melissa Schaffhauser Ferguson; four grandchildren, Sara Cash, Rachel Schaffhauser, Katherine Schaffhauser, and Julia Ferguson; two brothers, Derryl "Beaver" Schaffhauser (Carolyn) and James Alexander Garrett (Marcia); a host of other cousins, family, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his biological father, James Alexander Garrett; father, Herbert A. Schaffhauser; and mother, Betty Schaffhauser.

A memorial service for Mr. James Schaffhauser will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena, Arkansas.
