Wilkins Thompson III

April 15, 1944 - March 18, 2021

Celebration of Life Services (come and go) for Wilkins “Wilk” Thompson III age 76 of Jackson, TN, will be held Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 2pm to 7pm at his home. 

Mr. Thompson passed away March 18, 2021, at his home. He was born April 15, 1944, in Nashville, TN, to the late Wilkins Thompson Jr. & Ruth Ella Walter Thompson. He was a member of St. John’s Masonic Lodge #332 & Al Cyhmia Shriners. He was a lifetime member of the Jackson Bass Club.

Wilk enjoyed a successful career of 29 years with Central Distributors in Jackson, TN. He was lovingly known as “The Bud Man”. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed trivia.

Brother: Bob Thompson – Hot Springs, AR 
Grandchildren: Matthew Pope – Jackson, TN 
Chris (Katie) Pope – Jackson, TN 
Great-Grandson: Oliver Thompson Pope
